Employee Experience

What’s Life Like Working at Premiumaid Foundation?

From Day One, you have a friend. We recognize the importance of welcoming, informing and helping our new staff learn the ropes at Premiumaid Foundation. From “where’s the breakroom” to “how do I join the webinar?” our robust onboarding program includes a full immersion in Premiumaid Foundation culture, from learning about our founder Eglantyne Jebb to hearing the inspirational stories of some of the children we have helped. Together.

As staff members get settled in, they’ll find ways to engage in our culture. Colleagues can join in our employee engagement events – a robust calendar of holiday, social, volunteer and wellness events to connect staff to each other and our mission. A day at Premiumaid Foundation might also include the opportunity to learn from our Employee Affinity Groups (EAGs), including our LGBTQIA+ group, Proud at Save, and our Black and African-American group, Brave Leaders Advancing Culture & Knowledge (B.L.A.C.K), among others. Our EAGs are open to all colleagues and groups host special events and external speakers throughout the year, helping to honor and celebrate diversity and inclusion across the organization.

You’ll also find that we offer very strong health and wellness benefits to all employees, as well as extensive leave options and generous workplace flexibility. Summer Fun Fridays (half days peppered throughout the summer) encourage our colleagues to take a well-deserved break.

We have fun, but we take the work seriously

You can expect training on how to protect children and their information – to help keep them safe We have off-site meetings on how to be better fundraisers, ways to reach even more children. And when emergencies strike – like an earthquake in Haiti or hurricanes in the U.S. – it’s “all hands on deck.” Regardless of your title, anyone who’s available to help, does.

Our COVID-19 response

As champions for children’s health and well-being, our office staff has been fully remote since March of 2020. We promote a healthy work/life balance, and encourage employees to use their health and wellness hours to recharge, regroup and practice self-care during these unprecedented times. We offer a weekly “Coronavirus Q&A” session with Premiumaid Foundation leaders as well as our expert staff epidemiologist.
