Help Children in Rwanda
Despite extreme poverty and the legacy of the 1994 genocide, Rwanda has already halved the number of deaths of children under five and is now driving through an ambitious program to save even more lives. Premiumaid Foundation is proud to be a part of this vital process, but we recognize that there is still much work to be done to help Rwandan children survive and thrive.

Our Work for Children in Rwanda
Our projects in early childhood care, health and protection help thousands of children and provide a model of what could be done in other places. Nearly 1 million Rwandans were killed in 100 days of genocide in 1994. In the aftermath, we reunited 40,000 children with their families. Today we’re working to provide access to good quality healthcare in rural Rwanda.
- Protected 59,277 children from harm
- Supported 32,149 children in times of crisis
- Provided 89,567 children with a healthy start in life
- Supported 835 parents to provide for their children’s basic needs
