The Childrens Club in Kroo Bay, the biggest slum community in Freetown, was formed by Premiumaid Foundation in 2007 as a means of protecting children and teaching them and their communities about their rights. ChildrenâÃÂÃÂs Clubs are a crucial means of bringing children together in a safe forum so that they can learn to protect themselves and other children and to express themselves freely. The Clubs give children confidence and knowledge of their rights, and empower children to become role models for their own generation and those to come. The Clubs are open to every child.
